Paper Stars

Sometimes i wish so hard that i could be the on giving you scholarship advice.

I wish so hard that i could be the one helping you through your interviews.

I wish so hard,

that things could be different.

So that i can stand a little taller in front of you when you tell me about your plans for the future.

I think that may be if i had worked that much harder.

If i had pushed myself that much further.

Slept that much less.

Than maybe, maybe i would not be in this state.

This applies to all three of you.

Jon, Fif and Mi.

I wish that i could have made you that much prouder of me.

Someone that you can look up to and turn to in this matter.

For now,

all i can do is to continue folding these stars.

Each one representing my love,hopes and dreams for you.

All of you are gonna be great.

You just don't know it yet.

So let me fold these pieces of paper.

One by one,

Wishing, hoping 

that it would be enough.

4 days to go.

All the best my loves.

so,

tomorrow will be my first ever debate tournament.

i can feel those butterflies in my stomach =S

all i wanna do is to give it my best,

and emerge out of it wiser.

ah,the fear of the unknown.

on a lighter note,

the drama team went out for our long over due lunch together.

it was good to be out with them again,

just eating and laughing with no worries.

friendship isn't about being there when it's convenient,

it about being there when it's not.

sometimes,we just need to look away from the ugly and savor the beauty of life.

it's okay to be who we Asians really are ;)

no matter how sad you are, just remember happiness is not far away ;)

the smiles, the surprises, the sad moments and moments that leave you clueless,

that's what life is made of.

Post 505 : Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows Part 2

lovely to be able to dedicate such a lovely numbered post to an amazing show.

and with that,

the end of an amazing series that colored so many years of my childhood.

The magic, the friendship, the love and the many many years of good books to read.

and i was glad to be able to share the joy with people who appreciate this series.

this movie was a good mix of tears, laughter and pure entertainment.

kudos to the producer and the cast.

and to JK Rowling,

thanks for making my childhood a more imaginative one.

Harry Potter,

you are a legend.

today i had 3 friends come over.
and it was awesome
